Marketing Communications Manager

We currently have an opening for a Marketing Communications Manager located in our corporate office in Wilmington, DE. This position reports to the Global Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of content development, promotional activities, and enterprise communications for SPI.  The Marketing Communications Manager will lead the execution of promotional placements including local and global tradeshows, website, and social media with focus on optimizing value and position.  The Marketing Communications Manager will support the marketing function with development of value-based content for sales tools, technical presentation, and promotional collateral.  This position will manage marketing initiatives within the ABF parent organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Integrates appropriate marketing methods and channel options to reach customers and meet defined business need/goal
  • Creates and implements innovative channel programs and go-to market plans designed to maximize new product launches
  • Value based positioning: content inventory/repository
  • Manages content stream from technical team for new and existing products
  • Manages promotional activities in accordance with the promotional plan
  • Manages development of promotional materials and sales tools
  • Manages vendor relationships
  • Ensures that corporate branding strategy and guidelines are followed for all activities
  • Ensures all projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manages and develops Marketing Communications Associate(s)
  • Performs other duties as assigned     

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Masters preferred
  • 5+ years of industry/sector experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
  • Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and work cross-functionally
  • Deep understanding of website, digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Hootsuite and analytical tools
  • Curiosity, ability to explore new path ways to data capture and analysis
  • Travel Required: 25% domestic and international
