What would I be doing?

The Research Scientist will support the development and understanding of our current Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and excipient systems. Working closely with the Technology Specialist Liaison, R&D teams, and other departments. This role will help streamline communication and ensure that product and project knowledge is effectively shared across teams.

This role will primarily focus on assisting with production application support, New Product Development (NPD), and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams. This position is ideal for an individual eager to grow in technical expertise while developing cross-functional project management skills.

· Assist in product characterization and development studies supporting key API and excipient project initiatives.

· Collaborate with R&D teams and the Technology Specialist Liaison to translate technical data, findings and material knowledge into clear, concise materials for internal teams, such as Technical Development Managers (TDMs) and external customers.

· Support the coordination of assigned NPD activities, including tracking key tasks, timelines, and participating in cross functional discussion as needed to maintain alignment.

What we are the qualifications?

· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar technical field is preferred, with exposure to product development or process development

· Experience in purification, filtration, or drying processes (e.g., spray drying, freeze drying) within regulated environments is a plus.

· Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams, balancing hands-on activities with documentation and communication needs.

· Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical a non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively across functions.

· Curiosity and adaptability, with the ability to learn new technical areas and contribute in evolving project environments.

· Willingness to travel as needed to customer or vendor sites and company facilities.
